teatora wallet pants packable.

<p-initials>w<p-initials>e’re starting to see it pop up everywhere without much of a pitch, so this week we offer our two cents on teatora’s signature piece: the </p-initials></p-initials>wallet pants packable (tt-004-P):

“it gives me a system to keep EDC on me at all times. i’m absentminded & lose shit all the time. ask sae about that one time i lost my backpack at gare de lyon. or that other time i lost my phone day 2 of a three week trip in patagonia. so yeah..it’s about the pockets on pockets on pockets. and i don’t have that KD wingspan so cargos are out.”

”i used to travel a lot for work and am committed to doing my laundry at least every other day wherever i’m at (i have a thing with smells). so i need clothes that are machine washable and will hang dry overnight. also, i need shit that’s durable. there’s no worse feeling than falling in love with a pair of pants only to see it go to shreds with a few wears. fortunately, teatora’s nylon is silky to the touch and practically indestructible even for a big dude like me. i’m hoping to pass these down to beans as an heirloom.”

“i used to wear a lot of track pants playing soccer growing up, so i was looking for something like track pants but that i could wear to the office. i got into easy pants, and stumbled on a pair by marni with a wide and cropped silhouette. but they’re mad expensive, and i’d have to wait for them to go on sale on farfetch. i was put on the wallet pants by fujiwara-san at silver and gold umeda who was wearing a pair as an alternative to mil-spec cargo pants. he was into it because it was functionally same as cargo pants but had a cleaner presentation. i have a thing for plain-looking pieces with a twist, and in this case the textile they used got me curious.”
